ユタ日本語補習校は２０１１年４月に小学１年生１１名を迎えてアメリカのユタ州にて開校しました。本校は、子の教育を思う保護者や日本人コミュニティの発展を願うボランティア有志によって設立されました。２０１７年度より中学部、２０２３年度より高等部が設立され、現在は幼稚部２学年、小学部６学年、中学３学年、高等部２学年（複式）の計１３学年の園児、児童、生徒が毎週土曜日元気よく登校しています。
また本校は保護者、教師、企業関係者、邦人コミュニティ代表、教育関係者などが参加する運営委員会によって運営され、ユタに住む日本人、または日本と関わりの深い園児、児童、生徒に、学齢相応の日本語を発達させる機会と目標を提供します。
Children of all nationalities are welcome to join our school. The Utah Japanese Language School is a supplementary school for students who speak Japanese at a native level. All classes and communication with parents are in Japanese.
教育目標
成人してから、日本語環境においても、重要な寄与ができる人間性と言語力がある。
日本人の国民性と文化に精通し、その知見と能力を土台に世界に貢献できる。

The Utah Japanese Language School is a private, non-profit school organized to teach supplemental Japanese educational curricula to Utah students. The school admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
